Travel Training
Travel Training can help individuals try a new mode of transportation to increase their mobility options. Some Northern Colorado providers and partners already facilitate travel trainings as noted below.
RideNoCo Travel Training
RideNoCo Mobility Specialists can train professionals, human service clients, or other community partners how to use RideNoCo’s regional resources such as the Trip Discovery Tool, One Call/One Click Center, human service transportation providers, and regional routes. To request a RideNoCo Travel Training, please email mobility@nfrmpo.org to schedule a time and discuss your specific travel training goals.
Fort Collins Travel Training Resources
Transfort provides customized training to meet the needs of your group or individual one-on-one training. Training is offered onboard the bus, on Zoom, or at your office/agency as a presentation/classroom event. Transfort also offers monthly on-going training on Zoom for the general public; sign-up for these on Engage or through the Recreator.

The Arc of Larimer County facilitates a two-part travel training about using Transfort’s services with a focus on the specific needs of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Please reach out to Jessey Manison directly with questions: jmanison@arclc.org
FC Bikes hosts bicycle education classes and presentations and has a directory of online classes and learn from home bicycle resources here. FC Bikes also facilitates the Bike Buddy Program to match new bicyclists to trained Bicycle Ambassadors to help learn how to select a comfortable route, safely ride in traffic, basic bicycle maintenance, and choosing gear. Additionally, the City of Fort Collins operates a Safe Routes to School program to provide youth travel training.
Loveland Travel Training Resources
City of Loveland Transit (COLT) offers travel training that is customized to trainee’s experience level. Request a COLT travel training by calling (970) 962-2700.
Greeley-Evans Travel Training Resources
Greeley-Evans Transit (GET) offers travel training designed to teach safe and independent travel on their public transit system, with a focus on their fixed route services. To schedule a travel training, please contact GET at 970-350-9290.
General Bicycle Resources
The League of American Bicyclists have a variety of smart cycling resources including free video resources in both English and Spanish to teach the basic rules of the road as a cyclist.

Denver Metro Area and Boulder County Resources
Boulder County Mobility for All collaborates with community partners throughout Boulder County to offer transportation-related technology workshops and one-on-one support to help community members of all ages and abilities feel more comfortable using transportation applications such as Google Maps, the Transit App, Lyft, Uber, and RTD Mobile Ticketing.
